Wow, so to make this robbery possible, the guy owning $4 million pobably did not use a hardware login token and a pw manager and a hw wallet (did not own his keys). Basically carrying $4 million on his person, and still "smart" enough to host a cryptocurrency event.

This guy was very lucky he's still alive and the kids must have been able to gather enough info from the guy ('s presentation?) to assume his securty to be this bad to pull this one off.
