Yeah. I’m a Christian, so I believe it (just telling you where I’m coming from). In 1 Corinthians 15:22 it says, “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made to live.”

There are other verses that also indicate it was Adam who was ultimately responsible. Because the serpent fooled the woman (he talked to her) but Adam ate knowing it was wrong, and did it anyways.

For Eve there were extenuating circumstances, for Adam a conscious choice.
