I have been experimenting with digital minimalism and trying out a "low-information diet", and I think I just found a great way for Notedeck to help me with that: A minimal deck with only two features: My notification inbox (so I can reply to important messages), and a way to make new posts. Excited to try out this "zen deck" for a few days!

Cool, this thing of digital minimalism and information diet!
Let's see how it goes! The temptation to check other timelines is big though, not going to lie hahah
also called "the egocentric mode"
lol, it's not forever though, just when I need extra focus! I should have a second one for consuming some content, like on weekends or specific moments. It'd be nice to get AI to generate summaries of the week!
Does feel minimal.
True, it might be a bit too minimal. It would be nice to have some way to generate summaries, like a "weekly digest" of interesting content from my follow list. I imagine dave (AI) could maybe help with that? nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s, is there a way I can prompt dave to generate weekly summaries of my follows?
I dont know what to ask Dave.
I asked it what are the top 10 notes with most zaps in the last 24 hours. it understood everything, but then said there are no notes with zaps in the last 24 hours.
its not clear to me how to use Dave yet.
I will try to experiment with it as a replacement for the traditional timeline, and see if I can discover any tips/tricks. It might be that the tooling is limited to regular Nostr filter parameters (e.g. date, keywords on the note, author pubkey), but I need to use it more to find out!
nostrdb doesn't have a way to do a query like that yet. when it does dave will be able to use it
weekly is simply too much data, when I pull 500 non-reply notes the earliest note is from this morning at 6am, and it's 10am now.
it would need to be a pipelined strategy somehow.

cool feature! might give this a try!

Was thinking: would be nice to get it switched programmatically, e.g. Sundays auto turn off noisy info feed and show only something good for your soul. Or force me to show the 'minimum crucial' deck during working hours, switch onto social/meme in the afternoons. Something similar to auto night mode on the phone or flux on desktop
