Thanks for sharing this bit of media with me. I find the increasing utility of Bitcoin as it relates to renewable energy really exciting.

As this interview makes clear, Bitcoin mining actually possesses a number of attributes that make it quite well suited to balance the energy grid, take on excess ebbs and flows from various kinds of renewable power, etc. At a practical policy-making level, presenting today's current glut in renewables as an actual opportunity instead of a problem seems clearly worth pursuing.
