How? The pastor of my church was in management there and he litterally said when they were hiring "if they have a pulse or can fog a mirror when you hold it up to them" then they hired them. Imagine what that does to local labor markets. Especially with the government subsidies they take advantage of when paying workers.

If there is a place you can get unskilled jobs and pay them taking advantage of tax payers money, then yeah pretty horrible. If those shit jobs didn't exist, people would have to get a skill and actually contribute

Also, their "affordable" prices come at a cost which part of that is killing off mom and pop shops in a self perpetuating cycle. Especially since 75%+ of their products are shit Chinese stuff.

Seems like you haven't researched this issue at all. Walmart is a net negative on the American economy. Even their fucking waste is off limits bc of their shit corporate practices. The waste produce should go to pig and chicken farmers and composting facilities.
