There are a lot of very active 50-something year olds that are about to start slowing down. These people are currently holding the bridge of society together in their churches, and non-profits. Millenials aren't volunteering in these capacities. '28-'30 are gonna have a lot of very dark bear days. -

I an one of them. You're right.

GenX gets no credit. We are "boomers" to the the younger generations. We're a smaller generation than either of the two that surround us. And it's funny, the millennials and the boomers kind of have a love-hate relationship. And it's because the millennials are an echo of the boomers.

When we were young we lived in a world where we came and went with our own volition. We were the last generation that had that. And we were one of the first generations that had two working parents. If we had 2. We were the original latchkey kids.

We are a transitional generation, so we got the best and worst from both sides, I think, a little bit.

But we are a sarcastic and apathetic generation. We keep to ourselves, which is another reason why we get left out of most of the conversations about generations.

And we take care of shit. I think that's kind of to your point. Just because we had to take care of ourselves.

And now most of us are old enough to know that we can't fix the world, that there's no hope of it really...

... except for the Millennials, Z, Alpha.

Good luck, I say.

In some ways it's no different than history, ripples on water, echoes. Like a poem we all know, but it's still being written.

Gen Z is bringing it back. Go to any Traditional Latin Mass or Orthodox church and see how many going Gen Z faces and families there are.

Its a white pill for me every Sunday.
