When i think about how long people were doing industrious thing without scissors...a seemingly simple idea, it makes me wonder what seemingly simple invention has simply not been thought of that will have immense impact 🤔

nobody knew about leonardo for a long time after he was dead, except maybe some small bits and pieces about his work on naval warfare tech (early scuba gear)
is this a recent discovery that he invented this before it appeared more widely but nobody realised it came from him or?
