What if all the previous Bitcoin developers that got pissed and walked away from the project got together and formed an autonomous private organization to further decentralize Bitcoin software ?
Or does this already exist and I don’t know about it. I can’t tell with how deep the censorship on my other platforms has been for 5 years

Ah, this makes sense only problem is 42 bytes and 46 bytes whirlpool transactions CANNOT be censored IMO but then again, I’m not super super technical so I’m not saying this is accurate because I do not personally know
My question is why are there only two options? Why isn't there a slew of node interfaces to choose from? Core's censorship seems like it was inevitable when a shit ton of devs ended up under the same roof. I get wanting to be with the cool kids but it's antithetical to bitcoin's mission for decentralization. Fuckin of course they've started commandeering the conversation.
Such a great question. It might have something to do with how deep censorship was for engineers… walled garden on twitter. Moderation on Reddit. Deplatformed on YouTube. I remember A LOT of builders between 2014 and 2017 and poof gone
If they were real ones, that wouldn't have stopped them from building but I get it-I too do not fend well, and will often find another project, when politics get involved. Sounds like a bunch of cases of people who probably tried to go fast alone, and didn't make it far without others.
