How might we incentivize non nostr “content creators” to join us from twitter?

It would help to educate them as to how lightning is used to support content users like.
It’s a strong point to mention the fact that they are being middled elsewhere.
Whereas on nostr, the reward is actual bitcoin directly from the content consume, which can include large amounts.
This makes me think could we create some type of control structure that would ensure that content creators receive some type of minimal sat reward for effort/pow.
This is something to discuss, with the main issue being how do we remain decentralized and how would we gather and distribute sats as an entity other than an individual consumer of the content.
Yakkihonne has sat rewards based on content creation… curation.

Would your relay or client reward you as incentive? Would this require relays to maintain some minimal fee to fund content creators?
Do we risk creating the same reward structure already in use by shittier centralized platforms….

Incentives are positive though it is true that it could be biased and centralized. It is a good idea, as you mention, to brainstorm possible ideas that could avoid some of the pitfalls.
Perhaps some kind of a transparent curation process by multiple curators to try to reduce bias.
Content creators crave content too. It’s a virtuous loop.
Content discovery will be important.
I like the efforts of nostr:npub1pu3vqm4vzqpxsnhuc684dp2qaq6z69sf65yte4p39spcucv5lzmqswtfch and nostr apps to encourage content creators & journalists to join & be supported in the process. It includes zap setup education.
