Anyone who can ask the universal android debloater project to come over to #nostr?

everyone who has #android, check it out, it lets you easily stop system apps from booting up or even uninstall them.

to use it: download android debug tools from google (link given on its website) and

extract it to a nice folder on your computer.

download latest release of https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater/tags and put it alongside "adb.exe" and start the program.

go to your android phone, look for build number and click until it gives a message that you can access developer options. There, enable "usb dbugging".

connect your phone to computer via USB and allow computer to use adb on your phone. the Universal Android Debloater now displays all apps, divided in categories and lists. look around in the program for a bit.

Please stick with the safe options that are almost sure to not break functionality. Unless you know what you are doing and made a back up of your data. Also, you might want to make a script to reinstall all apk's that you backed up, fast via .bat or .sh files, executing commands in sequence.
