My grandma passed away last year between Christmas and New Years. In her last days, I visited her.

One morning, my aunt was giving grandma her pain management pills. “Here is your Tramadol” she said.

After she took the pills, I said, “I could use a double dose of Fuck-it-all”.

We all laughed. Even as her body gave out, and she lost her memory, she never lost her sense of humor. I miss you, grandma.

Grandma's are the best!!

You know why grandparents and grandchildren get along so well?

They share a common enemy. 😏

😅 there is a hint of truth to that... the relationship dynamic between grandkids and grandparents is very different. I was very close with my Grandma growing up because she didn't put up with the BS I dished out to my parents on a regular basis. Couldn't do the same when spending summers with Grandma on the farm!
