Bravery can also be acting despite knowing things may turn out poorly because of the knowledge that if one did not act that a poor outcome is an absolute certainty.

The best example I can give is telling the truth at all costs because one must assume that being truthful will lead to the best outcome, even if it seems not to be the case.

That's an early Jordan Peterson lesson but I've applied it and every time things end up working out better for me, even if in the short term it doesn't look like it.

I think that's a form of bravery.
