Why are DM notification so slow for this app?
We have no push notifications yet but it’s coming in the next version.
Will you be doing it the same way as Nostur, instead of through APNs?

Oh cool, here’s some notification delay testing I did for Fabian if it helps :)
there should be only a 1 second delay on damus
Mainly because thats the limit that ios imposes on local notifications, push notifications will be 1 second faster and will work when the app is not open which is nice.
Wow 😮 I think Nostur uses Background App Refresh and gets the results I showed. How are you getting the 1 sec delay?
Oh i didn’t realize nostur was doing background stuff. We don’t do that.
