I’ve been excited about zapstr 2.0 for a while now

Part of why I’m so excited is because we’ll be able to do the following (hopefully):

1. Ability to zap artists directly (duh)

2. Instantly show what you’re listen to in your status and profile

3. Hopefully show who else has zapped that track right in the status

4. Show total zaps for the track being listened to

5. 2 click share - to nostr or anywhere else on the web

6. Music widget within clients

7. Ability to interact with tracks from within any client that implements it

8. “Zapdrop” fans. Think of it as airdrop but in zaps to everyone who engaged with your music

9. What other creative things can we think of??

I think it will make for a powerful platform and a decent enough V1 to monetize. The platform can monetize with an optional zap cut for the platform, on top of 100% going to artists. 

Eventually have it auto-zap every X seconds while listening and zap split to everyone who is tagged as the creator of that track.

Play-to-Earn: basically play a track enough times (while streaming sats) to earn a permanent downloaded version.

Maybe some of these ideas are dumb, maybe not, and maybe I’m missing a lot, but I’m excited regardless!
