I wonder what he would have thought of the world of too much information we live in now. So much has changed since he passed

Aaron risked everything to make academic papers available to everyone.

However, nowadays we are used to bite-sized, easily digestible content: headlines, short videos, and tutorials. Most of us gave up engaging in deeper, more nuanced thinking.

He invented RSS to read more and more effectively. We invented TLDR.

It’s not all bad. I’m seeing a penchant for action in folks who now seem to have the confidence to try things with readily available instruction. Lots of creativity happening- so while we might not be getting the literary depth, richness is being built elsewhere
