Of course. Because we don't know the extent to which we don't know we should have intellectual humility.

It's a lack of intellectual humility. Attacking, in this sense, is emotional and not based on reason. During a discussion it's preferable to fill in the blanks, or ask questions to see if there really is a deficit.

They certainly can, but ones ability to reason to such motives is limited by a lack of psychic ability and basic knowledge of any person you've only read a few paragraphs about.

And simply lack the knowledge and intelligence, but we still have the need to interact with others. Which always reject us, due to for us unknown reasons.
