Didn't know about Entrudo, it seems to be a Luso-Brazilian old costume that led to modern Brazilian Carnival

Look up to the North of Chaves and you’ll find the origin, my friend

Galiza is the 🔑

Depending on the region it is called: entroido, entruido or entrudo.

I will research it (:

Early Portuguese history cannot be understood without understanding Galiza.

And to understand Northern Portugal, specifically, Galiza cannot be left out of the equation.

Indeed mate, we are connected!

Good! 🚀

It was Kingdom of Leon & Castela that gave us our first lands, so we'll always be connected to Galiza

I would challenge you to spend time at the border (between Tras-os-Montes and Ourense) and tell me who’s Portuguese and who’s Galician 😅

I won't be on that side

I'll go to Xurés this summer

Cool! I think it is not as pretty as the Portuguese side.

I'll be mainly on Portuguese side but there on Spanish side, some hot springs like Lobios and Aquis Querquennis that I don't miss (:

See if you can visit O Couto Mixto, it has a really interesting history

Didn't know about it, thanks for the reference! ☺️
