Eth is a scam, like all crypto eth is alterable, not nation state resistant and offers no real monetary advancement comparable to bitcoin
At best it is an unproven technology company. Regardless of intent it has objectively delayed awareness of the revolutionary, world changing properties bitcoin has and the age old problem it brings to light and fixes: broken, corrupted money.
Every single person I have spoken to that supports eth cannot tell me what eth is or what it does or why it's important. They live in circular obscurity.
They couldn't explain it on any level of comprehension beyond reading something off the internet usually about smart contracts, something they pretend to understand or they act like it's useful and important in a way they cannot describe and somehow even if they could it's just beyond the average persons ability to grasp, which is of course bullshit.
If it does not address the fundamental issue of broken money, it's a technology company, and not money; it is in no way comparable to bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the base layer money. Sound, uncofiscatable, honest money for all.
The first criteria for sound money is: can it be altered, corrupted or controlled.
Eth has fundamentally changed significantly several times by a select group of insiders. How much eth will there ever be? Impossible to know, a group of insiders have changed it arbitrarily multiple times.
It also has proven to be controllable by enforcing rules against validators. There also was a pre-mine where insiders received benefits beyond the general public.
Bitcoin is revolutionary nation state resistant money and inviolable property for everyone on Earth.
No one can change bitcoin, Satoshi, the US government or the richest people in the world cannot alter, corrupt or censor bitcoin. No one benefits from bitcoin beyond the general public. There was no pre-mine of bitcoin. Study it, learn why it's important.
Bitcoin fixes an age old problem of breakable and corruptible money. That is the needed revolution in money.
Anything that is not nation state resistant money proven over time is nothing different than our current system.
No government benefits from people using bitcoin because it means the governments ability to control the financial system ends.
With bitcoin, governments (banks) printing money for free and choosing who benefits from monetary policy, this historic source of corrupt power and control is gone.
Hence the proliferation of confusion, "crypto" and the lack of information to the general public regarding bitcoin.
