Great portion of the tension in these games were the tank controls, which is why I always hated SH5 and SH6. Now the remake comes and "fixes" that too. Not playing, not one bit interested in playing it.

Mmm agree, even in the first trailer seeing James move that fast swinging at the enemies…defo missed the point that he’s just a normal guy and that the controls being awkward was a design decision

Good point. The remake plays like a modern RE game, which is excusable in that setting because, aside from Ethan, the protagonists have some combat training and are accustomed to dealing with biochemical weapons after a certain point. Not James.
