They're gonna outlaw cars and make us all take robo taxis with our social credit cards.
Do we need a Right to Drive amendment?

Nope. We just need to elect good Sheriffs.
vote harderr daddy?
Never gonna get away from that. A local sheriff is the most decentralized you can get and they live in the community so they're easier to hold accountable. I mean I'm all for no government at all and just have vigilantes kill criminals on the spot, but it's the best we can do otherwise.
At least you have the 2nd amendment there.
love that text
I'm sure at some point it will kick off.

This is so far away. You know how many millions of people had to drive home drunk last night because Uber doesn't even reach their town?
most of my life I've lived in a town like this
agree, but the fear mongering has begun
We'll just have to pay a "high risk" fee to the state to have shaved monkeys drive 2 ton mobile weapons
You'll get a discount if you own semiautonomous vehicle to take you where you need to go
Very hard to outlaw driving, but they can charge an fee for the privilege (on top of what we already are charged i.e. drivers license, vehicle registration, required insc., etc.)
We need less laws and amendments, not more
you're looking at this from the wrong perspective
we need more laws that restrict government and less laws that restrict people
Elon will try to get everyone to be in a driverless tesla. He will make the case that the tech is so good there will be no more car accidents. Or significantly enough less accidents to push this through. How do we stop this?
Dystopean One Upper: You think you'll be allowed outside, ha, the matrix commeth....
I'm not taking that black pill
I'm really looking forward to the algorithm wars on these taxis. Open source vs closed source. How does this code handle the pedestrian problem vs this code. It's going to be a crazy time and I'm here for it!
YES BUT THEY WILL LIKELY USE INSURANCE TO MAKE IT PROHIBITIVELY EXPENSIVE TO DRIVE LEGALLY RATHER THAN A STRAIGHT BAN.
I have to read your posts 3x to get to a point where I'm not yelling in my head.
I agree
actually i have it from an inside source that they're NOT going to do this
