I like the principle on witch, I assume, you make this statement, but also think that in part it's wrong, especially because it doesn't, and per definition can't work, for everyone, as if we'd all follow it everyone would constantly be leaving 😅 (even the dumbest person in the world is the smartest around when nobody els is there)
Surrounding yourself with smarter people (even if only on a specific topic) is the way to learn a lot quicker/more, but for those people to be there they have to not follow this "rule" (BTW in some ways that would imply that they're not the smartest)
Maybe the solution is to sorround yourself with people that are smarter in some regards but can learn from you in others ;)
