Anywhere humans live the environment must be managed. That's just a fact.

Building in an area requires management.

Mismanagement results in property destroyed. If you think you can live in a forest and escape fire you are delusional. Lightning strikes trees and ignites fuel.

California stopped forest management which has created a public that assumes things are fine.

No Agenda has covered this.

John C. Dvorak one of the hosts has lived in California all his life. Since the 1800s it has been well documented that California has wild fires and if humans choose to live there the forests, water and infrastructure must be managed in order to work. Whether it is possible is not a question. It has been managed but now it is mismanaged.

I'm on the East Coast and we have to constantly manage our cities for hurricanes. They will happen. Snow will happen. Being complacent is not an answer.

The Outer Banks was created by a hurricane and roads have to be closed down. Bridges built. Ferries run. Things change.

We have work to do always. This is why when we get cocky thinking we can manage other places we get our ass handed back.

We also are spiritually bankrupt but that's another story.
