I wish Nostr used "subscribe" rather than "follow". I prefer the implication more, I'm subscribing to a feed, not following someone.

Agree. Only cringe thing about the term is when streamers say "thanks for subbing ✌️"

Yeah there's that, but it's a better term I think. Followers sounds inflooencery.
