If the government found a way to exterminate all mosquitoes, I’d be a statist.
Pretty sure they do have CRISPR or similar to reduce/prevent them reproducing

That’s a good start.
I think it was successful in some small island studies. Probably there are a lot of unknown unknowns, so it’s hard to trial in a larger area, where it could spread across a continent
