With conspiracy theorists, I never know whom “they” is meant to be. I doubt conspiracy theorists have any idea either. “They” are not likely any Democrats, nor the independent voters, nor the remaining Never Trump Republicans, none of whom want Trump back. That leaves the majority of Republicans, who genuinely want this criminal to be president again, so they rally behind him. At 79 felony counts with more to come, any one of which comes with prison time, Trump supporters would do well to start bracing themselves to see their idol in an orange jump suit. Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is clearly not messing around, and at least half of the country want a conviction, me included.
