Maybe because of the relays they are on are not in your primal list of relays ?
How come when I switched using #Amethyst to nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg my followers don't show up?

Hey if you use amethyst that means your on android. Citrine is a android app that lets you run your own private local relay. Also https://backup.greenart7c3.com/ lets you back up your npub and broadcasts at the same time ( greenart7c3 is of both ) maybe that will help. Anyways thought that was cool knowledge to share 🙂
