That's an interesting idea to be able to utilize the relays of the people you follow. I'm assuming by doing so we as a user will be connected to many relays as we follow more people. This makes sense to me too because that would mean we still continue to receive notes/posts, replies, updated follower count and other events for the people we follow based on the relays they use. I guess this might solve the problem where if those who we follow has different relays compares to what I currently have, we might get no updates I guess.
