Bitcoin Twitter is weird AF at this point.

I’ll leave it at that.

I’m so glad I was extremely late to xitter. Unfortunately spent many years on r/bitcoin but after finally being perma-banned from Reddit I switched to Twitter for a few months. I hated it minus the Bitcoiner’s and did not understand the appeal. Found nostr through xitter and have never looked back.

I align… I never got into the BT community. It felt inauthentic. Then Nostr came along and the community blossomed.

Today/now, or just in general at this point? I’m not taking the bait and leaving Nostr to check it out.

I check X out every once in a while for a different perspective. Macro, news, whatever.

In my casual dip here and there my reaction is 2 fold….

1) it’s always been cheap, the further I get away the more weird I feel seeing people behave the way I know pleases the algo.

2) the last of them, meaning the few BT holdouts that are left keep popping up on my feed have the dumbest posts that are clearly clinging onto relevance and the relevance is dwindled

Thanks for the report from behind enemy lines. The algo is like a South Park episode character

Blue ticks encouraging Wall Street custody their BTC and some soy boy trying to take credit for king nostr:npub1d3f4m9dgvkdjxn26pqzsxn6lpfn78sxwllxyt8mp76q0a9zyyjlswhr4xv new book. Nostr only 2025.

There is good weird and there's bad weird. Choose wisely.

That there is.
