I'm starting to become more curious BSD.

But this made me look into some information on distrowatch if there are any OSs without SystemD. If correct, it seems like OpenMandriva and Slackware are without SystemD.

Dose that mean those Linux systems are more "free" from Lennart and Microsoft without it?

That Linux users should rather pick system like those, if not BSD?
