I'm quite surprised to see this post as I've tried using Olas many times over the past weeks but haven't managed to even log in using my key or bunker at all, let alone use it. I have given up on it for now and don't think it is ready even as an alpha release. I use a phone with more than decent specs so don't think that's the issue.
The purple pilling package is nearly complete for those who enjoy sharing and consuming rich visual content.
After spending seven days documenting a vacation exclusively on Olas, a Nostr-powered Instagram alternative, it’s clear that Olas is on the right path. It offers a familiar experience for posting images, and its foundation on Nostr ensures it's decentralized and censorship-resistant, utilizing a user's relays and blossom servers.
This is already light years ahead of Meta's Instagram, but nostr:nprofile1qqs04xzt6ldm9qhs0ctw0t58kf4z57umjzmjg6jywu0seadwtqqc75spz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszxnhwden5te0wpuhyctdd9jzuenfv96x5ctx9e3k7mf0dv4ph5 isn’t stopping there with Olas. Soon, users will have access to even more powerful and customizable feeds. Whether you prefer algorithmically curated content or feeds shaped by your communities, these options are on the horizon.
Olas is very new and very early, but the potential is there.
