Has anyone given starter packs a serious attempt?
I imagine it could be done with lists and autofollowing people in that list to populate initial feed.
Make them linkable with own url for easy sharing.

Yeah people create their own. Sounds easy to me. What’s tedious about it?
what lists would be featured on the site/app tho? even if the lists are created by users someone would need to also curate that list.

You see your own lists by default or whichever ones you started following.
No one has to curate any central lists. You can also star lists and discover most starred lists or just search by name and how many people follow that list
It’d be a nice feature for us newer folks to surface and discover people to follow
