Nutsacks and nutzaps do fix it and I agree about the mint selection happening automatically, kinda like we do with relay selection.

The critical aspect is educating users if their balance grows too much, particularly when it grows in a single mint.

I wanted to have that for npub cash forever, and it seems natural to me that we should have this feature for NIP-60 wallets and similar.

The if balance > X { … } opens a lot of possibilities that would not be economical for most people as a starting point
