So I tried with IOS and a hard drive - the internet connection was decent.. it got to like 75% downloaded and then bombed out… is Rasberry PI maybe the option? I am mining at least on the little BITaxe miners..

No you need a dedicated machine on StartOS or Umbrel.

Hit me up if you need any help. Good luck. I’d recommend getting a little mini PC with a 2TB SSD or a server pure direct from start9 if you want something that is ready to go straight out of the box 👊🏽
