Everyone running a marketing campaign for their "scaling solution" on the premise that Lightning is dead will look stupid very soon and peddle back and kneel before the king of L2s as soon as they regain their humbleness (see Ark).

Lightning works pretty well right now. People like that aren't going to change their tune just because Ark exists. They're not basing their objections on reality.

If anything the liquidity costs of Ark will just give them more things to complain about.
