Can’t believe how far I’ve come in my understanding and mastery of #Bitcoin in just 4 years.
I had / have no mentors and knew not one Bitcoiner when I started. Just a healthy curiosity and since beginning I have never stopped learning, reading, listening and experimenting with this technology.
The key to any quest is sustained effort 🔑
And you started when there was much less information to peruse!! Good job!
I’ll never forget the day someone explained properly to me what a UTXO is. Everything started to make much more sense.
This is encouraging. I'm still in the phase of, "Wait, what? What is this?!" And now that I know, I can't learn fast enough! But I can't go backwards so I'll just take it a day at a time and do my best to learn and figure it out. That's all I can do.
At one point I a paid a very technical person on Reddit to answer all my questions. It wasn’t much and it was my offer to pay, and they answered all my dumb questions very thoroughly. But I was literally like “I want to pay you for your time and expertise and so I don’t feel bad asking you all these stupid questions.” 😂
I think this is a brilliant idea! It would be SO great to have someone actually help me with a degoogled phone (is Above Phone good??) non-Apple computer, zapping abilities, where to best/safely exchange dollars for Bitcoin, etc. I am learning, slowly, but the fear of doing something wrong and causing a major screw up is big. I guess if I'm here, I actually *have* learned a lot so far! Lots of good winter reading and courses lined up 😁
