Ideally that’s attractive, but there is too much abuse and pain in our family for it to continue to exist, so we’ve all built new and better families we protect ferociously. There are too many worthwhile people around to waste time on those who don’t add to your life. I’m thankful for the experiences I’ve had, the mistakes I’ve seen made were learned from, and while I’ll make my own mistakes, hopefully something better and stronger will result.
I can imagine and that's why I said it is too bad to hear your experience. Although it can be rationalized by the probability distribution but unfortunately you are the one who is falling on the sword.
