Growing up in Virginia, my mom still watches every Sunday. She said her most thrilling experience in life was being able to drive her car on the martinsville speedway when they opened it to the public one night.

I’m the black sheep in the family. Everyone else works for a nascar team: fabrication, pit crew, engines, chassis, etc.

I really pissed off the fam when I did an investigative newspaper article about how much the military was spending on NASCAR :)
