👍 Agree that blood cholesterol level is not a meaningful risk indicator. There is no evidence for cholesterol being causative to artherosclerosis... Still a hypophesis (Diet-Heart Hypophesis from the 1970s).

Also important to know: dietary cholesterol does not drive blood cholestrol levels. Body produces what he needs. Hence, delibertalely eating a high cholesterol diet has little effect.
