Asked a friend what they would do with their lottery winnings. They mentioned living off the interest. They said maybe some in Bitcoin. Then asked me and I said almost all of it in Bitcoin. He became defensive and described all the reasons why in the future Bitcoin may be obsoleted (i.e. AI, quantum, a Better Bitcoin replacement, etc). It was hard to explain my point of view because of the defensiveness, but I tried. I was like imagine you are worried about a “Better Bitcoin” so you choose the “worse fiat” system. 🤔
