Phoenix is very simple. But with the so little knowledge I have, I did not think it was a node in itself like Blixt is. I thought Phoenix connects to ACINQ´s infrastructure for a split second as a payment pass-through and that they also do some liquidity management for us (I don’t know what I’m talking about). Anyhow it’s a very simple to use solution, it has onchain -> offchain swap service, it works really well and it’s a good feeling to know that your coins are your coins.

Blixt is a full blown node with lots of settings to manage channels, network and lnd settings, lsp support. I don’t use it much because I don’t understand the LN network well enough. I have two channels open on it and I use them to experiment and try to better understand LN. It’s cool to know that you have a full LN node in your pocket.

So much to learn all the time. I think I am interested in too many things at the same time 😅🤯
