I tried highligjting the PDF linked here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9253158/ unsuccessfully.

It may be the only extension I have installed on that machine. Maybe that's something. Sorry can't be more help. Only installed it a few days ago when I saw announcement and it just worked
