Funny thing just happened. 12-YO daughter’s friend called on the land line we got just before the summer. Had to take a message, say she’d call her back when she gets home.
Took me back 40 years.
(She’s not getting a phone until 16, so the land line was my idea.)
Please tell me it's a rotary dial phone.
