We have some examples to look at, for example the Spanish and the Aztecs or Inca. It never works out well for the primitive natives. If technologically advanced aliens do find us, we're probably fucked.

Well, I think what I think would make most people think that I've really lost my mind. A not too crazy summary is that I don't think that "aliens" as beings from other planets exist. Are they foreign to our shores? Yes. But they are not from "space."
