So many companies find it hard to develop new formulas for film; so what they usually do is buy a huge bulk rolls of film (usually from Kodak) and repackage/rebrand them as theyâre own. Usually the bulk rolls are older formulas that are not longer on the market so Kodak doesnât mind selling them off.
The âred bandâ however is a light leak. This happened cause the weather in Japan at the time was colder, so the oils in my film camera kept slightly freezing so the shutter would get stuck at a certain position letting excess light hit the film. This âoverexposesâ the film creating interesting colors and shapes on the image.
