Guess I didn’t realize it was so bad until recently. Damned shame.
It is still a a good place to find answers to certain things, just rife with corruption and feds and fucked up visibility algos as a whole
Definitely not somewhere one needs to spend much time, but there will always be oddly specific nerds who know a lot about random stuff and aren’t afraid to talk about it
Worst part is google constantly sends you there for any long tail question and sometimes quora and both of those platforms give me the brain pain reading the threads
It's full of Marxist midwits, who believe themselves to be on the right of the bell curve.
I mostly just use it to follow my sports teams and UFO stuff, but even that’s getting ridiculous. They are calling for a ban on X links in pretty much every sub right now. Deleted my account.
Yeah, I like going on there because I'm a geek and they've got the best Yu-Gi-Oh & Nintendo forum.
My guilty pleasure however is to look through the r/buttcoin and r/canada subreddits, and laugh at the bad takes.
