The state's opposition to the Second Realm is rooted in its desire to maintain control and suppress individual liberty, we must be prepared to counter this.
Discussion
what is the second realm?
The second realm is a book, and a concept of the existence of two realms: the first realm is of coersion, violence and the state, while the second realm is of voluntary interaction and trade.
Interesting, I will read it.
Do you think it’s possible we ‘needed’ the state to get to this stage of development (cities, etc) but like religion (that may have helped in cooperation etc), it will ultimately be superseded with a freer society, absent of the state?
I think all of human progress is despite the state, not because of it.
I do appreciate the angle, and understand the sentiment, I just wonder if, say the UK, that hasn’t been invaded for 1,000 years, would have been able to avoid that without having a state army to protect it; which in turn gave a thousand years of space for the individuals/families to build.
Something as important as physical protection must not be left in the hands of the state, a private market of defense is vastly superior than a monopoly.
It seems because the disease could exist it did exist.
People consider our progress over the last 100 years amazing and we achieved all of this despite the state wielding its most deadly weapon Central banking.
Can you imagine what was stolen from us? Literally Star trek or even more.
Who's going to build the roads is such a blind assumption. We might not even need roads by this point.
It will be a hard battle
