🤗 poetry is an incredible medium of expression. I used to write poems but I've lost touch with that side of myself. I hope I find it again one day.

Sea water and wine flow through my veins,
Yet a pearl is hidden in the depths of my being.
The mollusc which holds it guards it from pollution,
But the pearl is aware, eternally all-seeing,
And the mollusc is hardened, covered in dirt.
Forgive me sweet pearl when I'm too afraid to meet you,
The ocean is so deep and I am so weak.
I wish I was stronger, to drown and to greet you,
To know you,
to see you,
to be you,
