I wish there was a search engine for old memes, but it's impossible.

Like, "look up the meme of the badly drawn guy frowning"

I know what it is, but there's no way a search engine would.

Btw, it's the guy I reacted with, but I really don't know where he's from.

I once had the idea back in the days of me_irl to run the memes through a machine learning model to track the evolution of memes in the subreddit, because they would always make so many great variants. But I never did. I only made a web scraper that could download the most upvoted memes from there.

Thanks for the sats! 💕 Maybe scraping https://knowyourmeme.com/ would work. I hate that website, but it is has plenty of data.
