How accurate was his portrayal of the situation in Europe as understood by ordinary Europeans?
Discussion
Being an ordinary european, I’m fully on board with his speeches, whether at the AI summit in Paris, or the security conference in Munich. There isn’t a spec of dust on what he said.
How about friends and family? You being on Nostr makes you a somewhat uncommon ordinary person. It is nearly impossible to gage actual sentiment over the ocean when I can only read English language news and I am beginning to suspect that all English language news is completely made up.
All my immediate friends agree with me and like what he’s saying. Some colleagues at work feel like he’s being disrespectful, but honestly, this proves he’s right.
Vance: “you guys don’t accept free speech anymore”
EU bureaucrats and their goons: “his speech is unacceptable”
😅
Hi Stella!! How was your today ?
I don't like the part that he demanded from the european scums not to oppose USA big tech companies. Other than that, as a european i found the whole thing satisfying also
Just like he said, we don’t have agree with everything he’s advocating.
Europe would benefit from putting Big Tech in check, but not through excessive regulation that suffocate us, but by having our own vibrant tech industry.
His talk about the need to industrialize again and the need to pull our own weight is on point. And I personally liked the recurring reference to our shared civilization and our shared history.
