After you hit send in WoS switch back to Zeus. It’s possible your OS is pausing the LND process when you send Zeus to the background

Tried that too but no joy. I'll keep trying and eventually move from WoS and try other wallets

Alternatively you can try pulling a second device into the mix. Should be more foolproof
